Yuwen Liu, Professor, PhD supervisor, Deputy Director of Animal Genome Research Center, Institute of Agricultural Genomics, Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences. Awarded as the National Major Talent Project (youth), Guangdong High-level Talent (youth), “Agricultural Leading Talent” of Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, Shenzhen high-level talent , Shenzhen "Youth May Fourth Medal" winner. He received his bachelor's degree from Tsinghua University in 2006 and his PhD from the University of Chicago in 2014. Prof. Yuwen Liu has more than 10 years of scientific research experience in the field of genomics and epigenetics, and specializes in developing experimental and computational methods to analyze the genetic basis of complex traits in economic animals from non-coding regulatory regions, as well as synthetic biology breeding based on cell regulatory circuit design. First author (including joint first author) and corresponding author (including co-corresponding author) in Genome Biology, Published 9 articles in American Journal of Human Genetics, JACS, Bioinformatics, Genetics Selection Evolution and other high-level journals. He has co-authored more than 10 articles in high-level journals such as Nature Genetics and Nature Communications, and has been cited more than 1400 times by Google Scholar.
