Objectives

Focusing on three major themes of quality and safety, precision nutrition, and alternative protein, the Food Science Research Center researches and develops gene editing rapid detection technology, nano antibody rapid detection technology, multi-omics safety, and quality evaluation technology, intestinal microbiome analysis of nutrient digitization, biosynthetic protein, digital characterization and simulation of food components, sensory evaluation, and other methods and technologies. Focus on the development of salmon quality nucleic acid test kit, salmon parasite metabolite test paper, artificial meat, algae feed, potato derived food, and other products; It also contributed to the new food safety assessment, quality classification of "Shenzhen Food", health management of the special population, construction of microbial bank, probiotic mining, Chinese recipe database, Lingnan dietary model and other practical problems.

Introduction

Food Science Center mainly takes food science, omics, big data, and other technologies as the core, focusing on the major needs of food safety and food nutrition in food production, to build a scientific and technological innovation model of the whole process of the reverse chain of "from table to farmland.
