Guoqiang Yi
Guoqiang Yi, Principle Investigator, Doctoral Advisor. He has selected for the "Young Talent Program" of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, and received the overseas high-level talent in Shenzhen. The major focus of our group is to decipher the Selection and domestication mechanism of important economic traits and key molecular markers in pig by integrating multi-omics approaches. He received his bachelor's and doctor's degrees from China Agricultural University in 2010 and 2015, and he was engaged in Postdoctoral Fellow research at Radboud University Nijmegen in the Netherlands from 2015 to 2019. At present, He is a reviewer of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the key project of Guangdong Guangdong-Shenzhen Joint Fund and the general project of Shenzhen Science and Technology Innovation Commission. He has published 45 scientific papers, with a total of more than 1000 citations, and an h-index of 20, of which 10 papers have been published in journals such as Cell Reports, Blood Cancer Journal, Epigenetics & Chromatin, Journal of Animal Science and Biotechnology, and BMC Genomics as the first and corresponding authors (including co-authors). He is also a director of the Animal Genetics and Breeding Branch of the Chinese Association of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Medicine, an editorial board member of BMC Genomics and a theme editor of Frontiers in Genetics
