Wanqiang Qian, a Research professor and MSc student advisor, Deputy Chairman of the Biological Invasion Branch of China Plant Protection Society, national high-level leading talent in Shenzhen. His main research directions are plant protection and invasion biology. The genome analysis and adaptive function analysis of major invasive species such as Cydia pomonella , Mikania micrantha , African giant snail and golden apple snail were completed, which further enriched the hypothesis of "evolution of invasive force driven by plastic genes". He has published more than 50 SCI papers in Nature Communication, Molecular Ecology Resources, Plant Physiology, BMC Biology and other journals. He successively presided over the 973 program, national key research and development programs, the National Natural Science Funds and more than 10 other programs.
