Hetan Chang

Dr. Hetan Chang, Principal Investigator, received his PhD degree from Nanjing Agricultural University in 2017. Following his doctoral studies, he embarked on postdoctoral training at the Stowers Institute for Medical Research from 2017 to 2018 and later at the Max Planck Institute for Chemical Ecology of Germany from 2018 to 2023. He has published 8 peer-reviewed papers, including first or co-authors papers published in Science, Current Biology, Nature Communications and Elife. His prior research has been centered around unraveling the intricate connection between complex behaviors of insects and their responses to environmental cues, with a particular focus on the modulation of these behaviors through the olfactory pathway.
