Yanling Cai, postdoctor, graduated from China Agricultural University in 2019. From 2020 to date, she has been  doing postdoc study in Agricultural Genomics Institute at Shenzhen (AGIS). She is dedicated to dig the resistant gene in no-host Solanaceae plants which helps potato resist the invade of phytophthora infestans  and answer the question how the gene raises the resistance to the pathogen in potato. Her work is aimed to improve the resistance to P. infestans in potato. To date, she published 10 related articles which contained the two articles pushed in Journal Of Experimental Botany as first authors and one in Metabolite as corresponding author.

Postdoctoral researcher with a doctoral degree from the College of Horticulture, China Agricultural University, mainly focused on the metabolism and synthesis of sesquiterpenes in Solanaceae  plants and their application in potato late blight resistance breeding. In the early stage, the research group screened for late blight resistant germplasm resources and identified secondary metabolites and their synthesis pathways related to potato late blight resistance through multi omics data analysis. Currently, I have published one academic paper as the first author in Plant Physiology and have been cited more than 30 times in total; The second prize winner of the 2022 Shenzhen Skills Competition has been selected for the 2023 "Shenzhen Craftsman" Training Program.

Mei Luo graduated from Jiangxi Agricultural University with a Ph.D. in December 2019. From 2017 to 2019, she conducted joint doctoral training at Michigan State University in the United States. From June 2021 to present, she serves as a postdoctoral fellow and assistant researcher at the Institute of Agricultural Genomics, Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences. She hosted one National Natural Science Foundation of China youth project , and one postdoctoral science fund general second-class funding project. She published 6 SCI papers as the first author in The Plant Journal, Proceedings of the Royal Society B: Biological Science, Insects, etc.

Postdoctoral researcher. Dr. Yu received his PhD from The Chinese University of Hong Kong. He currently focuses his work on applying trans-omics approaches to analyze the genetic bases and evolutionary mechanisms underlying the diversification in resistance of Solanum species to Phytophthora infestans , the pathogen of potato late blight. In recent 5 years, as a co-first author, he published a paper on Nature Plants  and Nature Genetics , respectively.

Lei Pi graduated from China Agricultural University in June 2023 with a doctoral degree in Plant Pathology. In September 2023, he joined the Agricultural Genomics Institute at Shenzhen-CAAS as a post-doctoral scholar. His research interests are the mechanism of plant disease resistance, and he currently focus on the molecular mechanisms of plant-specific metabolic synthesis genes regulating non-host resistance against Phytophthora infestans  in Solanaceae plants. He has published two SCI articles in Journal of Integrative Plant Biology and Phytopathology Research, and one Chinese core journal in 《Molecular Plant Breeding》 as the first author, and was awarded the national scholarship for doctoral students in 2022.

Postdoctoral researcher with a PhD degree from the Institute of Plant Protection, Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, and mainly engaged in the mechanism study on the pathogenesis of Colletotrichum graminicola  that mediated by protein glycosylation modification. The results were published in the International Journal of Molecular Sciences  and New Phytologist . The directions of postdoctoral research include population structure analysis of pathogen of southern corn rust and mechanism analysis of resistance to southern rust in maize.
