Hongchao Ji is an Associate Researcher and MSc student  Supervisor. He holds a Ph.D. in Science and graduated from the School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering at Central South University, China in 2020. From 2020 to 2022, he worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the Southern University of Science and Technology, Shenzhen before joining AGIS  in 2022. He has long been dedicated to the development of chemical informatics and artificial intelligence algorithms, particularly their applications in complex system analysis and metabolomics.

He has published 9 papers as a first/corresponding author (including co-authored papers) in international academic journals such as Nature Communications, Cell Chemical Biology, Analytical Chemistry, and Briefings in Bioinformatics. He has contributed to a total of 19 published papers and has an H-index of 11. He has obtained 1 national patent and 1 PCT international patent. He has received funding from projects such as the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the Shenzhen Science and Technology Program.

June 2022 - Present: Associate Researcher, Agricultural Genomics Institute at Shenzhen, Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences (CAAS). 

May 2020 - June 2022: Postdoctoral Researcher at the Southern University of Science and Technology.
