Wei Xu, Principal Investigator, doctoral advisor. He obtained his PhD degree from University of Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2016 and did a postdoc in School of Life Sciences, Tsinghua University from 2016 to 2020. His research focuses on development and application of chromatin characterization techniques and has developed ssDRIP-seq for genome-wide mapping of R-loop and DEtail-seq to detect DNA break in genome. As a (co-) first/corresponding author, he has published papers in Nature Plants, Cell Research, Plant Cell, Science Advances, Science China Life Sciences etc.
