Jue Ruan
Dr. Jue Ruan, Research Professor, Doctoral Advisor, Chief scientist of Agricultural Genomics Technology Innovation & Application Innovative Group. He is focusing on genome assembly, and led the development of genome assembly and sequence alignment algorithms for third-generation sequencing data: SMARTdenovo, wtdbg and bsalign, breaking through the field problem of the third-generation data assembly speed lagging behind the sequencing speed, and becoming the mainstream algorithm for third-generation sequencing assembly. He has published more than 30 SCI papers as the first/corresponding author in international academic journals such as Nature, Cell, Nature Methods, National Science Review and Nature Communications, with more than 40,000 citations.
