Quan Wang, Principal Investigator, "Young talents" of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, Pearl River talents of Guangdong Province. Group leader of  of Super Rice Germplasm team in AGIS. Dr Wang’s research is mainly focused on rice development. He has published several research articles on Plant Cell, New Phytologist and Plant Journal. He got Bachelor in Science from Nankai University in 2003 and Ph. D. in Genetics from Max Planck Plant Breeding Institute / University of Cologne in 2012. From 2012 to 2015, he worked in the Max Planck Plant Breeding Institute in Germany as a post-doc. In 2016, Dr Wang joined AGIS, CAAS as a group leader
