Zhiqiang Wu
Zhiqiang Wu, Principal Investigator, Doctoral Advisor. In 2012, he received a doctor's degree from Institute of Botany, Chinese Academy of Sciences. He was awarded the title of "Outstanding Young Talents" by the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, "Overseas High level Talents" by Shenzhen City, and "Top Young Talents" by the the Pearl River Talent Plan of Guangdong Province. Has led multiple provincial and ministerial level and above projects, such as the "Research on Nuclear cytoplasmic Interaction in the Formation of Heterotetraploid Species in Rice" (National Natural Science Foundation General Project). As the first or corresponding author, he has published over 50 SCI papers in such scientific journals as Trends in Plant Science, PNAS (2), MBE, PBJ, BIB, MPE, TPJ, etc. Taking plant organelles as the research object, using omics data to explore the variation and mutation mechanisms of organelle genomes, as well as the molecular mechanisms of nuclear cytoplasmic interactions. And explore the transformation of photosynthesis and respiratory system based on organelle gene editing technology to improve crop yield
