He was awarded the title of "Outstanding Young Talents" by the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, "Overseas High level Talents" by Shenzhen City, and "Top Young Talents" by the the Pearl River Talent Plan of Guangdong Province. Has led multiple provincial and ministerial level and above projects, such as the "Research on Nuclear cytoplasmic Interaction in the Formation of Heterotetraploid Species in Rice" (National Natural Science Foundation General Project).
