Yanli Li: Yanli Li, assistant researcher in Professor Junbiao Dai’s lab at the Agricultural Genomics Institute in Shenzhen since January 2024, focuses on reprogramming natural or new products by synthetic and genome editing techniques. First, genomic, transcriptomic, and metabolomic methods were used to decipher natural product pathways. Second, CRISPR / Cas9 and base editing tools were adopted to redesign synthetic pathways for small molecule metabolites in suitable chassis. These researches aim to provide new insights into the metabolic synthesis improvement of high-value natural products.

Cong Su( cong.su@siat.ac.cn): Su is mainly focused on Natural Products Research: The discovery of natural products. Biosynthesis of natural products. Qualitative and quantitative analysis of natural products.

Guangyu Luo (gy.luo@siat.ac.cn): Luo is mainly focused on the Genome Function of Physcomitrium patens; the design, editing, and synthetic assembly of plant artificial chromosomes (PAC), characterization of plant artificial chromosome gene element libraries and establishment of high-throughput detection and screening platforms. His main research directions are artificial design and modification of Physcomitrium patens chromosome, and the adaptability of exogenous gene components in Physcomitrium patens.

Hao Ye (yehao@caas.cn): Hao Ye received his PhD from the Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2021. He currently serves as a postdoctoral fellow in the Agricultural Genomics Institute at Shenzhen, under the guidance of Professor Junbiao Dai. His research focuses on three main areas: 1) the synthesis of plant artificial chromosomes, 2) the construction of streamlined genomes in plant cells, and 3) the biogenesis and function of plant organelles.
