Li lab uses interdisciplinary methods to study the natural product biosynthesis from medicinal plants and the related synthetic biology。

The Lab currently has 1 PI, 3 postdoctoral fellows, 3 research assistants, 5 Ph.D. students, and 7 M.S. students in our group.

Postdoc

Xianjin Qin: Xianjin Qin received his Ph.D. degree from Fujian Agriculture and Forestry University (FAFU)in 2020, and subsequently worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the Institute of Agricultural Genomics, Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences. His research interests focus on natural product biosynthesis from traditional chinese medicinal plants.
Yating Zhang: Yating Zhang obtained her Ph.D degree from Institute of Environment and Sustainable Development in Agriculture, CAAS in 2021, and subsequently worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the Institute of Agricultural Genomics, Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences. Her research focuses on the comparable and population genomics of Chinese traditional medicinal plants.
Dejin Xie: Dejin Xie received his Ph.D. from Fujian Agriculture and Forestry University in December 2021. He is a postdoc in Wei Li's lab. His research interests mainly focus on natural product biosynthesis from medicinal plants.
