超级稻种质创新团队

首席科学家：汪泉

研究方向：

系统创制和构建优良水稻种质资源和遗传材料；利用基因组学技术克隆控制水稻重要农艺性状的关键基因；通过分子设计培育优良的超级稻品种。

研究成绩：

主持参加973、863重大专项、重点研发计划5项。创制适于室内大规模种植的新型水稻材料“小薇”；融合籼粳稻各自优势的杂交新品种；揭示美国稻长粒基因GL7的分子奥秘，相关研究结果分别在Nature、Nature Genetics、Molecular Plant等国际学术杂志上发表。首席科学家钱前曾获国家自然科学奖一等奖、国家科技二等奖、国家杰出青年基金。团队成员汪泉入选深圳市高层次人才和农科院青年英才。

Super Rice germplasm Innovation Team

Principle Investigator： Qian Qian

Research Field:

Creating various genetic materials of rice; Constructing elite rice germplasm resources; Identifying key genes controlling the important agronomic traits of rice; Breeding of super hybrid rice varieties by molecular design.

Achievements:

Characterized a new rice germplasm for ideal indoor research system for rice research; Developed new hybrid varieties with strong heterosis; Dissected the molecular mechanism of grain length formation. The related research results were published in the international Journals of Nature Genetics, Nature, Molecular Plant. Qian Qian, the team leader, was supported by National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars and won the first prize of National Natural Science Award and the second prize of National Science and Technology Progress Award. Quan Wang was honored as “Outstanding Young Talent” of CAAS and “Oversea High-Caliber Personnel” of Shenzhen.
