  课题组长

  唐中林,研究员,博士生导师。中国农业科学院农业基因组研究所首席科学家。2016年在哈佛大学做访问学者。承担国家自然科学基金重点及面上项目、973子课题、863重点和转基因重大专项等国家级课题10余项,在Genome Biology、Nucleic Acid Research、DNA Research等刊物发表SCI论文70余篇,获国家技术发明二等奖、省科技进步奖、中华农业科技奖、国家专利银奖等多项国家及省部级奖,获国家发明专利17项,软件著作权23项,国际发明专利2项。

  研究方向

  综合利用高通量的基因组、转录组、代谢组、蛋白组等多种组学技术和精准基因编辑技术,解析猪和小鼠等动物骨骼肌生长发育和重要经济性状形成的分子机制;利用生物信息、分子和细胞生物学等手段,在分子、细胞和个体水平,阐明骨骼肌生长发育相关基因和非编码RNA的功能和表达调控机制。

  

  研究进展

  重要进展成果1:公布首个中国地方猪“超清”基因组图谱,提供亚洲地方品种陆川猪参考基因组序列;

  重要进展成果2:整合多组学方法和全基因组关联分析鉴定出多个产肉性状密切相关的基因标记;

  重要进展成果3:首次建立猪全基因组RNA编辑位点、猪骨骼肌甲基化等多个数据库。

  Prof. Zhonglin Tang, Doctoral Advisor, research Professor of Agricultural Genomics Institute at Shenzhen, Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences (CAAS-AGIS), Director of the Animal Genomics Research Center. Prof. Zhonglin Tang has been honored as a leader talent of National “Ten Thousand Talent Program” and visited Harvard University as a visiting scholar in 2016. Prof. Zhonglin Tang has undertaken more than 10 projects supported by Natural Science Foundation of China, including the National Key Project, 973 Sub-topics, etc. More than 70 journal articles were published on prestigious journals, e.g., Genome Biology, Nucleic Acid Research, DNA Research . His team achieved the National Technology Invention Award, Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award, China Agricultural Science and Technology Award, National Patent Silver Award and other national and provincial awards. He also obtained 17 national invention patents, 23 software copyrights and 2 international patents.

  Research Interest

  Using high-throughput genomics, transcriptomics, metabolomics, proteomics, and gene-editing techniques to understand the molecular mechanisms underlying skeletal muscle growth and development in pigs and mice; Using biological information, molecular and cellular biology to elucidate the function and expression regulation mechanisms of skeletal muscle growth and development related genes and non-coding RNAs at the molecular, cellular and individual levels.

  

  Major Achievements

  Published the first "ultra-clear" genomic map of Chinese local pigs(Luchuan pig), and provided the reference genome sequence of Asian local breeds.

  Identified multiple genetic markers closely related to meat production traits by Integrated the multi-omics method and genome-wide association analysis Significant Progress.

  Established the world's first database of pig genome genome RNA editing site and pig skeletal muscle methylation.
