Our Research

Objectives

The pig genome design and breeding innovation team has for the first time developed a "one-tube" rapid fluorescent detection technology for the porcine reproductive and syndrome virus (PRSV), which can accurately detect PRRSV within 25 minutes. The high-sensitivity fluorescent detection technology is based on CRISPR-Cas2a and has the advantages of simplicity, accuracy, speed, and low cost, and can be used for rapid detection of various related viruses such as PRRSV. The related were published in the journal ACS Synthetic Biology and were selected as the cover article of the same issue.
